Here at A.I.M.-ReelVault, we believe everyone should have the right to free, quality movies.
Great films don't stop being great when their copyrights expire. They deserve to be watched, not locked away.
What is the public domain?
After enough time, a film's copyright expires and it enters the public domain — meaning it belongs to everyone. No owner, no rental fee, no gatekeeper. Public-domain films can be freely watched, shared, and enjoyed by anyone, anywhere, forever. Every movie in our vault has crossed that line.
How a film gets in the vault
We hand-pick classics and cult favorites, then verify their public-domain status before they're added. We source films from a range of places — not just the nonprofit Internet Archive, which preserves them for future generations — and for each film we secure the complete rights beforehand. If we can't verify a film's status or lock down the rights, it doesn't go in the vault — simple as that.

A.I.M. — All In on Movies. Our mission is to give film history back to the people who love it. No subscriptions, no paywalls, no ads getting between you and a great movie.
A note on rights
We work hard to only feature films that are truly in the public domain. If you're a rights holder and believe something here is posted in error, reach out and we'll take a look right away.
